Delegation of Egyptian petroleum companies visits Baghdad

A delegation representing Egyptian petroleum companies is to visit Baghdad today, in the second visit of its sort in two weeks, where last week a delegation chaired by the head of the geological department of petroleum, Maged Abd El-Haleem, visited Iraq.
The delegation is visiting Baghdad today under the chairmanship of Mohammed Saeed, head of the El-Hafr Le Abar El-Petrol Company, who said the bid to be announced by Iraq within the days is to dig new petroleum wells and carry out the discovery process in light of the oil-for-food agreement.
Maged Abd El-Haleem added that the visit of the Egyptian delegation in this field basically aims at enhancing technical cooperation in the fields of petroleum industries between the two states and taking part in reestablishing Iraqi petroleum buildings that were affected during the two gulf wars, and to insert it once more on the production map.
Meanwhile, the chairmanship of Petrojet company for petroleum projects, Kamal Mostafa, uncovered that the coming talks are about obtaining contracts for constructing petroleum projects in Iraq.
