Egypt's ambassador in Israel presents reports to Moussa on Wye accord
Egypt-Regional, Politics, 8/30/1999

Egypt's ambassador in Tel Aviv, Mohammed Bassiouni has presented a report to Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa.

Following the meeting, Ambassador Bassiouni said this report tackles the recent developments in Israel both internal developments and those regarding the peace process. Bassiouni said he briefed Moussa on the recent point reached in the negotiations held between the Palestinian and Israeli sides, and the drafting of a timetable for implementing the Wye River accord and resuming final status talks, adding that what is currently important is the practical implementation.

The ambassador also said there are currently talks between the Israeli and Palestinian sides to reach an agreement that includes all obligations -- both Israeli and Palestinian -- remaining from either the Wye River accord or the Hebron accord and put them into implementation.
