Lebanese resistance retaliates for Israeli aggressions

The Lebanese resistance on Sunday attacked early in the morning nine Israeli and South Lebanon Army militia positions inside the occupied part of south Lebanon, in retaliation for Israeli attacks against populated areas in south Lebanon's towns. The target positions were Sujoud, Sweida, Tahra, Qasseir, Hamra, Beida, al-Radar, al-Hardoun as well as the Israeli military reinforcements inside the al-Tibeh project position.

The Lebanese resistance sources confirmed that the attacks inflicted heavy casualties on the elements of the two positions of Hardoun and Beida.

Further reports from South Lebanon said Israeli warplanes on Sunday raided the Lebanese town of Kafra, which adjoins the occupied part of south Lebanon.

Lebanese security sources said the Israeli planes fired air-to-surface missiles against the town and one of the missiles hit a house in the town.

The Lebanese army and resistance fired anti-aircraft missiles against the Israeli planes.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces expanded their bombardment of south Lebanon's towns. Israeli security forces expanded their bombardment of residential areas in the towns of Majdal Zoune, al-Qaleya, Zibqin, Kafra, Yater and al-Mansouri, during which four citizens were wounded.

The sources added the Israeli bombardment expanded to cover al-Tuffah district towns, saying that two houses were damaged in Majdal Zoune town as well as another four houses in al-Mansouri.

A UNIFIL officer said that a center for the Finnish contingent was hit on Saturday night by Israeli shelling which targeted southern Lebanese towns. The UNIFIL officer added that the shelling resulted in heavy casualties.

On Sunday, the Lebanese national resistance attacked three new positions for the Israeli occupation forces inside the occupied part of South Lebanon.

Lebanese resistance said its groups attacked Israeli moves in Balat position, an armored vehicle in the surroundings of the position and fortification works in Hamid position.

The sources added that resistance men achieved hits against the three positions.

Later in the day, the Lebanese resistance said in a statement that it killed a member of the Israeli-allied South Lebanon Army militia.
