US Islamic organisations oppose Walt Disney Jerusalem capital of Israel, exposition

US Islamic organizations have protested the consent of the Walt Disney company to organise an exhibition under the title "Jerusalem is the capital of Israel," to be held at Walt Disney World, in the context of the third millennium exposition which will be held at the Florida theme park.

The director general of American Muslims for Jerusalem, which takes Washington as a headquarters and includes 11 Islamic organisations, told the AFP, " We are concerned towards that and we want this exposition to be reconsidered."

In a press conference he held in Washington, the chairman of the US Islamic organization, Abdul Rahman Hamoudi, warned Disney that it will be vulnerable to boycotts by Muslims all over the world.

He added that during every summer hundreds of thousands of Arabs and Muslims visit Walt Disney World, noting that the Arab League has thought of boycotting this theme park and, "We are heading towards the Organization of the Islamic Conference to say to all Muslims of the world that Disney should not do what it has done."
