Three explosions in Ein al-Helwa camp, south Lebanon
Lebanon-Palestine, Local, 8/30/1999

Three explosives went off on Sunday in Ein al-Helwa camp in south Lebanon, slightly wounding three members of the Fatah movement led by
Palestinian President Yasser Arafat.

AFP on Sunday quoted Palestinian sources in Beirut as saying that an unidentified man threw an explosive at the office of one of Arafat's partisans, army officer Jamil Zeidan, inside Ein al-Helwa camp and the explosion resulted in wounding two of Zeidan's brothers and another Fatah member.

Material losses were also inflicted when another two explosives went off inside the camp. The firm explosive targeted a ready-made garment boutique where Syrians work, and the second is a utensil shop owned by a man close to Palestinian extremists.
