Egyptian diplomatic moves in serving Arab causes

Egypt has stressed that its diplomatic moves upon the convening of the next session of the UN General Assembly will concentrate on Israel's implementation of UN Security Council resolutions 242, 338 and 425, which provide for its full withdrawal from the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, South Lebanon and the Palestinian territories.
Egypt's permanent representative at the UN said on Monday in press statements in Cairo that making the Middle East region a zone free from weapons of mass destruction and Israel joining the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) are on top of the agenda due to the dangerous consequences of the Israeli nuclear weapons against Arab national security.
