Syrian, Iraqi health relations discussed

Syrian Minister of Health Muhammad Eyyad al-Shatti met on Sunday in Damascus with Iraqi Health Minister Muhammad Mahdi Saleh and members of the accompanying delegation.
Present at the meeting were the Syrian minister's two deputies and several members of the scientific board for pharmaceutical industries in Syria.
The two sides discussed several matters of mutual concern in the area of exporting Syrian medicines to Iraq and the possibility of increasing cooperation and developing scientific expertise for the interests of the two countries.
