Iran, Qatar cooperation relations highlighted

Former Iranian President Hashami Rafsanjani received Qatar's new ambassador to Iran on Sunday in Tehran.
Talks dealt with relations between the two countries and means of developing and strengthening them in all fields, especially in the area of oil and gas.
The two sides stressed their countries' mutual desire to promote bilateral cooperation, especially in implementing oil and gas projects.
Rafsanjani stressed that Iran's cooperation in its capacity as head of the Organization of the Islamic Conference and the state of Qatar in being the next head of the OIC is very important to deal with issues of concern to the Islamic world.
