Morocco to host international colloquy on late King Hassan II

An international colloquy will be held next year in Morocco on the personality of the late King Hassan II.

The colloquy -- sponsored by the "Ribat Al-Fatah" sociocultural association -- will be attended by eminent political personalities, academics and thinkers from the four corners of the world.

The encounter will pay homage to the late sovereign and will highlight his legacy, philosophy, thoughts and actions made in various sectors for the prosperity of the Moroccan people.

Participants will also focus on the socioeconomic achievements accomplished by Morocco under King Hassan II's reign. The contributions made by the late king to the reinforcement of democracy, protection of human rights and consolidation of world peace will also tackled during the event.
