Egyptian factory for wood in Russia

The Egyptian union for contractors and the Russian Trade Ministry have agreed to found a union by building the first factory for producing wood on the Volga river to be exported directly to Egypt, Mohammed Mahmoud, the chairman of the union, said.

Mahmoud added that the Russian authorities have agreed to specify a special forest to supply the factory with 500,000 cubic meters of wood annually and to export it to Egypt through Finland on the basis that the Egyptian maritime fleet will transport the wood to Egypt.
