Daewoo to continue its projects in Algeria
Algeria-South Korea, Business, 8/27/1999
The regional bureau of the Korean Daewoo group in Cairo confirmed the continuation of company's activities in Algeria both in the project of the Algeria International Hotel, which was previously the Hilton Hotel, or in the automotive sector.
The statement released by the bureau confirmed today that Daewoo cars occupy the first position in Algeria, leading French made cars, and that its activities during October will be specified in banking, insurance, tourism and aviation companies.
The statement also said the group does not intend to close its branch in Algeria, despite the financial crisis affecting the company.
