Egyptian trade commission to visit Latin America

Egyptian Minister of Trade and Supply Ahmed Goweili stated that a commercial commission will visit Brazil and Argentina during November under the chairmanship of Mohammed Hamdi Salem, the head of executive department for the center of upgrading Egyptian exports, to promote Egyptian exports in these two markets.
Salem said the center is currently preparing to organize this commercial commission, adding that through the examination of the targeted export markets it was clarified that there are large opportunities for Egyptian exports in the markets of Brazil and Argentina.
He added that according to reports released by the commercial representative bureau it was indicated that the promising goods in these two markets include cotton fabrics, mixed and manufactured fibers, upholstery, carpets, family blankets, ready-made clothes, cars, frames, rice, spices, medical herbs, fragrant oils, fresh and dried vegetables, phosphates, Nefta, ceramics, porcelain, health tools, granite and china, as well as the products of Khan El-Khalili, service industries, services for tourism exports, banks, export guarantee companies, and companies for air and maritime transport.
