Lahoud, Hariri continue consultations
Lebanon, Politics, 8/27/1999

In the framework of their weekly consultation meeting, Lebanese President Emil Lahoud on Wednesday met with the speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri. They discussed internal and external conditions and their developments.

For the second time in one week, Lebanese President Emil Lahoud met with former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, and the two men reviewed current conditions.

Hariri's circles described the 45-minute meeting as "good," adding that such a meeting falls in the course of completing discussions on issues raised during previous meetings.

In the same context on Wednesday night, Hariri met with the chairman of the Socialist Progressive Party, Walid Jumblatt. Ghazi al-Aridi , a member of the Party's leadership, attended the meeting, during which current conditions were reviewed, especially local development.
