Preparations for Damascus International Fair underway

The general establishment of the Damascus International Fair has completed its preparations for the 46th Damascus International Fair. The DIF is organized by the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade from August 28 through September 7. Some 34 countries, including 12 Arab states, are participating.
Qatar will participate in the DIF after a ten-year absence. This resumption of Qatar's participation confirms the importance of the fair in consolidating inter-Arab economic relations.
The fair serves as a commercial and economic international market and an opportunity to bring together businessmen and economists.
