King Fahd sends a message to Argentine president

Argentine President Carlos Menem has received a message from King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia pertaining to strengthening bilateral relations and dealing with nominating Saudi Arabia for the post of the director general of UNESCO.
The Saudi news agency said the message was delivered by Turkei Bin Muhammad Bin Saud al-Kabeer, Saudi assistant Foreign Ministry secretary for political affairs, during his meeting with President Menem in Buenos Aires on Monday night.
President Menem showed, during the meeting, his backing for nominating Saudi Arabia to this post, noting the firm friendship relations between the two countries.
