British delegation concludes visit to Libya

A British delegation which included several members of the British House of Lords from both the Labor and Conservative Parties and several economic activists in Britain following a visit to Libya which lasted several days.

Member of the British House of Lords for the Labor Party Ahmad Nazir described this visit in a pre-departure statement to Libya on Sunday night, saying that this first visit to Libya "was fruitful and constructive for strengthening relations."

For his part Lord Will Fram from the Conservative Party expressed in a similar statement his happiness over the great understanding between the two countries and for restoring bilateral diplomatic relations.

He stressed the desire to maintain a spirit of cooperation for the interests of the Libyan and British peoples.
