Moroccan coast guards, operating in the Mediterranean, have seized end of last week 30 kg of drugs (Chira) on board a Spanish boat, said the Royal Marine. Three persons were arrested, a Moroccan and two Spaniards while the boat was seized by the marine for investigation and legal action. Al-Qabas Kuwaiti daily issued on Saturday said the rotating presidency of the Arab League council, which is to be assumed by Iraq, has saved Iraqi Foreign Minister Muhammad Saeed al-Sahaf from a ministerial reshuffle which was about to take place in the Iraqi government. The paper added that the Arab governments have agreed to have al-Sahaf as a chairman for the ministerial council on September 12 because al-Sahaf has won Egypt's acceptance and because the AL chief has confidence in his performance on the issue of reconciliation between certain Arab states and Iraq.
