Moroccan athletes El-Guerrouj and El-Kouch qualify to 1,500 m world championship final

Moroccan athletes Hicham El Guerrouj and Adil El-Kouch qualified Sunday for the 1500 m world championship final scheduled for next Tuesday in Seville, Spain.
El-Guerrouj, the 1500 m world recordman, made it to the final after entering first in his heat while his compatriot Adil El Kouch booked his qualification ticket after ranking 4th with a good performance with 3:41.51 timing.
Field and track stars such as Fermin Cacho (Spain), Noureddine Morcelli (Algeria), Moroccan born-French National Driss Maazouzi and Kenyans David Lelie, Noah Ngenv... also qualified for the 1500 m world championship final.
Moroccan runners Ali Zine and Larbi Khattabi will also be present at the 3000 m steeple final scheduled for this Monday evening.
