Amir of Bahrain meets with Bashar al-Assad

Bahraini Amir Sheikh Hamad Bin Issa al-Khaleifa on Sunday visited Bashar al-Assad at his residence in al-Manama.
Sheikh Hamad reviewed bilateral relations with al-Assad, son of Syrian President Hafez al-Assad. He stressed his country's desire to strengthen relations with Syria in all fields.
Earlier in the day, Bahraini Prime Minister Sheikh Khaleifa Bin Salman al-Khaleifa and Crown Prince and commander of the defense force Sheikh Salman Bin Hamad al-Khaleifa received al-Assad, who also visited the hospital of Bahrain's defense forces and was welcomed by the secretary of Bahrain's Ministry of Defense.
