WFP warns of Somali famine

The United Nations World Food Program said that more than one million people in Somalia are threatened by famine after dry conditions have resulted in poor crops. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the Somalia Aid Coordination Body have launched a program to raise $17.5 million to help avert a crisis.
