Moroccan Red Crescent Sends Humanitarian Assistance to Turkey

The Moroccan Red Crescent has sent a humanitarian assistance to victims of the earthquake that jolted Turkey, leaving more than 10,000 dead persons. On Thursday, the Moroccan government also announced an emergency assistance, consisting of 900 tents, 6,000 blankets in addition to medical equipment. A team of 37 firemen specialized in rescue and land clearing operations was also put at the disposition of Turkey.
King Mohammed VI of Morocco offered Turkish president, Suleyman Demirel, his condolences for the earthquake victims.
