September 12, the meeting for AL council

The Secretary General of the Arab league (A.L.) Esmat Abdul Meguid said on Thursday in Cairo that meetings of the 112th session of the foreign ministers will start on September 12 and will last for two days.
He added that this decision was taken in line with consultations and contacts made between the Arab foreign ministers. In statements he made on Thursday, the AL chief underlined the importance that consultations of this session will be conducive to maintain actual Arab solidarity in the service of the supreme Arab rights.
The AL chief added that the continued Israeli occupation of the Golan, South Lebanon and the Palestinian territories are but the pivotal cause of all Arabs. He stressed the commitment of the Arabs to the strategy of a just and comprehensive peace which is based on Israel's complete withdrawal from the Golan, South Lebanon and the Palestinian territories in implementation of the UN resolutions 242, 338 and 425 and the land for peace formula.
