Tunis: Concluding Arab businesswomen's meeting

The assembly of Arab businesswomen, concluded its meetings yesterday in Tunis.
The meeting was held in El-Hamamat city, 50 km from the Tunisian capital, on the occasion of Tunis's celebrations of women's festivals under the patronage of Tunisia's First Lady Laila Bin Ali.
The group stressed the importance of hastening the establishment of an Arab free trade zone and introducing the Arab common market, and that the Arab states should continue the policies of economic reform.
The assemblage released its concluding statement, which called for founding an Arab businesswomen's council under the auspicious of the Arab League, and to organize periodical meetings for Arab businesswomen in the Arab states, as well as the establishment of a stock market to work through the Internet and an information bank to facilitate cooperation between businesswomen.
