Saudi Arabia sends aid to those harmed by Turkish earthquake

Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz ordered that two planes carrying foodstuffs, tents, dates and medicines be prepared to be sent to Turkey.

The sending of the two planes is considered as a contribution from Saudi Arabia to ease the suffering of the inhabitants in the affected regions of western Turkey, due to the effects of the devastating earthquake.

Meanwhile, Prince Talal Bin Abdul Aziz, the head of the Arab Gulf program for enhancing the UN development organizations sent financial aid to boost the rescue efforts, and supply necessary humanitarian aid for those injured in the earthquake in Turkey.

In a statement distributed to the program's general trusteeship in Riyad yesterday, Prince Talal said the amount comes as a contribution to the program, to help ease the effects of the disaster on the families of the victims. especially as great number among those harmed are women and children.
