Releasing the oldest Palestinian prisoner

The Israeli authorities have suddenly released the oldest Palestinian prisoner, Masoud Khalil El-Raey, today. El-Raey has spent more than 25 years moving between different Israeli prisons after he was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1974 after being convicted of killing an Israeli policeman.
El-Raey pledged to exert all efforts to win the release of the rest of the Palestinian and Arab prisoners in Israeli jails.
He added that the situations inside the Israeli jails are very difficult and that the prisoners desperately need all efforts to win their release, adding that Israel has to abandon the conditions and classifications it set for the detainees.
