King Mohammed sends message to Bahraini emir
Morocco-Bahrain, Politics, 8/19/1999

The Emir of Bahrain Sheikh Hamad Ben Aissa Al-Khalifa received on Wednesday a message from King Mohammed VI. The message, dealing with bilateral relations, means of upgrading Moroccan-Bahraini cooperation and issues of mutual concern, was conveyed by Moroccan envoy Tayeb Fassi Fihri at a meeting with Sheikh Hamad. Sheikh Hamad hailed on the occasion the level of relations between the two countries in various areas.

The Moroccan envoy who is touring the region had handed similar messages to Prince Abdullah Bin Abdel Aziz, deputy custodian of the two holy mosques, and to Prince Sultan Bin Abdel Aziz, second vice-president of the Saudi ministers' council and minister of defense and aviation, to president of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahyan, to Sheikh Khalifa Bin Sultan Al-Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy commander of the UAE armed forces, and to Emir of Kuwaiti, Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
