Palestinian welcome for not moving out the US embassy to Jerusalem

Palestinian sources welcomed the proposal of Israeli Prime Minsiter Ehud Barak to delay discussion of moving the US embassy in Israel out of Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, describing Barak's proposal as a positive step toward peace. The source added, "Jerusalem is the capital of the Palestinian state, and it is an occupied city as other cities that were occupied after 1967."
