Sudan appreciates Egyptian peace efforts in Khartoum

Sudanese Foreign Minister Mustafa Othman Ismael expressed his country's appreciation for Egyptian efforts to achieve peace in Sudan. He also expressed the appreciation of Sudanese President Omar El-Bashir for the initiative of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to achieve rapport and reconciliation in Sudan.
He also renewed the concern of the Sudanese government with creating the proper atmosphere to make these efforts a success.
He said, "We don't forget the efforts of Libyan President Moammar Gaddafi and his joint initiative with the Egyptian president to achieve reconciliation in Sudan."
He added that these efforts were not strange to the two Arab leaders, hoping for the removal of matters obstructing the Egyptian - Libyan efforts to reach reconciliation in Sudan.
