Some 11 Arab states call for postponing session of AL ministerial council

Some 11 Arab states asked for the postponement of the 112th session of the Arab foreign ministers council until September 13 - 14 instead of September 4 - 5 due to the preoccupation of the foreign ministers of these states with taking part in the emergency meeting of the Organization of African Unity in Tripoli on September 7 and the meeting of the Francophonic states' group to be held in Canada on September 4.
The Israeli occupation of the Golan, south Lebanon, and the Palestinian territories are on top of the meeting's agenda, which will include some 40 items pertaining to various Arab issues relating to political, economic and social areas.
