Egypt-Palestine, Politics, 8/17/1999
Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa said yesterday that his country sees negotiations between the Palestinians and Israelis as continuing and that the problems that have not yet been resolved by those negotiations have not reached a crisis point.
"The Egyptian-Israeli contacts are continuing but the Palestinian-Israeli negotiations pose as the main work for the time being," Moussa said.
He said that Egypt would continue in its role int he talks.
He added that the Syrian and Lebanese talks with Israel should start from agreements that were already reached, so that no more time will be lost by going back.
