Some 3 Iraqis killed, 9 wounded in US-British raids

Three Iraqi citizens were killed, including one child and another 9 wounded, in raids carried out by US and British planes against southern Iraq on Monday.
An Iraqi spokesman said, "US and British warplanes attacked service and civilian institutions in the southern parts of Iraq on Monday." An Iraqi military spokesman said that US and British warplanes attacked civilian and service institutions in the southern provinces and the attacks resulted in killing three citizens and wounding nine, including a child.
The Iraqi military spokesman added that the hostile planes carried out 28 sorties over the provinces of al-Basra, Meisan, al-Muthanna and Waset and were intercepted by the Iraqi anti- aircraft fires. In northern Iraq, the US planes renewed their attacks against al-Radar position in allousel province. The US-European leadership which has Germany as a headquarters said in a statement on Monday that its planes " F- 15," "F- 16" attacked this Iraqi position, which is located 460 KM to the north of the capital Baghdad.
