Violence continues in Algeria

The Algerian daily al-Youm said that Algerian security forces killed three gunmen near al-Janzoureyah in Bouira province, eastern Algeria. The paper said that four persons were killed and another three wounded in a bomb explosion in al-Taraeyshah village in Tebessa province, eastern Algeria.
The paper added that the security forces arrested one gunman and wounded another in a confrontation that took place between the security forces and armed groups in Koali coast, Tipaza province, near Algiers.
The Algerian dailies said that two traders were assassinated in their shops in al-Qasba area in Algiers. One of them was slaughtered while the second, his brother, was shot to death.
Meanwhile, an armed group in Ein Bassam town of Bouira province, in eastern Algeria killed a 28-year-old man, the son of one municipal guard, and in retaliation the guards ambushed the gunmen and killed two of them.
The Sawt al-Ahrar paper said that a young man from Azouza village was killed at a fake barrier in Wadi Issa in al-Qabael district, eastern Algeria.
Meanwhile, the Algerian army launched a large -scale attack in al-Qabael area following the aggressions, resulting in killing at least 16 gunmen since last Sunday in the region.
