Liberian president to convert to Islam

The Saudi daily Okaz said on Friday that President of Liberia Charles Taylor will declare his "embracing Islam" in holy Mecca during a visit he will hold soonto Saudi Arabia.
The paper added that Libyan leader Col. Moammar Gaddafi was the first to talk about Taylor's conversion to Islam during a luncheon banquet he held in the Libyan city of Syrte for President Taylor, attended by the chief editor of Okaz. The paper did not indicate the date of the meeting.
