Egyptian - South African high committee due to meet on October

The high joint committee for economic cooperation between Egypt and South Africa is due to meet in Johannesburg, South African during October, under the chairmanship of Egyptian Minister of Trade and Supply Ahmed Goweili and South African Minister of Trade and Industry Alec Erwin.

Alaa Khalil, the head of Egyptian trade representation department, said the committee will tackle cooperation between the two countries and evaluate what has been achieved since the committee's previous meeting held in Cairo in October 1998.

Moreover, several agreements for activating trade, investment and tourism between the two countries, as well as cooperation in the fields of science, technology, air transport and establishing joint companies for merchandizing products between the two countries.
