Barak, Abbas and the Wye river agreement

The Israeli prime Minister Ehud Barak has asserted that he is still expected the Palestinians to seriously study his proposals concerning the timetable to carry out the Wye river agreement
In statements quoted by the Israeli radio on Wednesday Barak repeated his promises to abide by implementing the Wye agreement, saying that Israel will implement this agreement." For his part, the Palestinian Authority official Mahmoud Abbas has called for setting precise dates to all matters concerning the implementation of the Wye river agreement.
He, in this respect, indicated the main request of the Palestinian side which is to draw a timetable for practical implementation of all matters and issues stated in the Wye agreement. Abbas added that the Palestinian Authority will head for the Israel and world public opinions, the ME peace cosponsors, Russia and the US as well as for Europe if the Palestinian- Israeli talks in setting a time table for Wye river implementation.
