Albright to raise new ideas for reviving peace process in the coming tour for Middle East
Egypt-Regional-USA, Politics, 8/12/1999

An Egyptian diplomatic source said that US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright will raise new ideas for reviving the Middle East peace process on all tracks during her coming tour of the area, which is expected to begin on September 1.

The source told ArabicNews.com that Albright's tour comes as a confirmation of the American role as a main sponsor of the peace process, adding that the communications made by the US administration with the peace process' participants aim at determining points of disagreement and agreement between Israel and the Palestinians, the Syrians and the Lebanese people regarding resumption of negotiations on the Syrian and Lebanese tracks as well as implementation of the Wye River accord on a schedule.
