Abdul Meguid to visit Jordan on Saturday

Arab League Secretary General Esmat Abdul Meguid is to head to Jordan on August 14 for an official visit, during which he would meet with Jordan's King Abdullah Bin al-Hussein and high-ranking Jordanian officials.

A.L. sources told ArabicNews.com that Abdul Meguid will brief King Abdullah on the outcomes of the contacts Abdul Meguid held with international officials concerning support for Arab rights and the return of usurped Arab territories to Palestine.

Abdul Meguid will also tackle with the Jordanian officials the Arab summit, which Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has called to be convened in the coming autumn.
