President of Nigeria making first visit to Libya today

Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo is to arrive in Tripoli today in his first visit to Libya since his assumption of power in May. Diplomatic sources in Tripoli said the Nigerian president will hold discussions with Libyan leader Colonel Moammar Gaddafi tackling current African conditions, preparations for convening an exceptional African summit hosted by Libya at the beginning of September, and bilateral relations between Nigeria and Libya.
