Pakistan denies landing of US planes in Islamabad

Pakistan on Tuesday denied press reports that said US planes manned by groups of soldiers landed in Islamabad in preparation for launching an attack against what the reports described as the "center" of Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan.
The spokesman for the Pakistani Foreign Ministry said in a statement that these reports are baseless and futile. For its part the official spokesman for the US National Security Council denied these reports on Monday. The US holds Bin Laden responsible for explosions at US embassies in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam in August 1998.
