King Mohammed receives president of maldives

King Mohammed VI received on Monday in Rabat President of the Maldives Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, who extended the sovereign condolences following the demise of the late King Hassan II.
President Abdel Gayoom had told reporters upon arrival in Rabat earlier in the day that the Republic of Maldives, its government and people have been deeply saddened by the death of the late King Hassan II, as they lost in him "a great and exceptional leader."
