$55 million in exports from United Arab Emirates to Iraq

Iraqi newspapers reported that the volume of exports from the United Arab Emirates to Iraq has doubled 20 times since 1995, saying that the value of the products exported from Dubai harbor to Iraq was $2.5 million in 1995 and increased to $55 million in 1997.
The Iraqi weekly newspaper Nabd El-Sharea said an Iraqi official said that 60 UAE companies will participate in the coming session of the Baghdad International Fair in November.
28 UAE companies and four Saudi companies participated in the last session of the Baghdad fair, while a commercial delegation from the UAE visited Iraq last month and discussed with Iraqi officials means of activating commercial cooperation between the two countries.
