Hizbullah says it will continue resistance against Israel
Lebanon-Israel, Politics, 8/10/1999
The head of the political council for Hizbullah, Mohammed Raed, stated that, "The resistance has nothing to do with the political atmosphere," emphasizing that the resistance will continue its work to fight the Israeli occupation until the full Israeli withdrawal from the Lebanese south without restrictions or conditions.
In an interview yesterday to the Lebanese Future Television, Raed said the Lebanese south will remain even during the negotiations an arena for real confrontation between the resistance and the Israeli occupation.
Raed reiterated that the relative clam witnessed by the Lebanese south has nothing to do with the regionally-prevailing atmospheres, but with the reality on the ground.
He added that the calm may be a preparation period used by the resistance to launch attacks operations against the Israeli occupation in the coming days.
