Adly: Islamic Group leader may return to Egypt

Egyptian Minister of Interior Habib al-Adly said today in an interview with Al Ahram newspaper, "Several terrorists were handed over to Egypt and a detailed map of terrorist activities has been detected."
He also said that Islamic Group (Gamaa al-Islamiya) leader Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman can return to Egypt, provided that he serve out court sentences handed down against him.
Adly also reiterated a call made by Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak for holding an international conference on fighting terrorism.
