Arab - European trade conference to be held in Port Said

The third conference for upgrading trade exchange between the Arab and European states is to be held on October 22 - 24 in Port Said, Egypt.

The conference comes in implementation of one of the recommendations released by the Barcelona conference to bolster cooperation between the two sides, the general secretary of trade chambers union and head of trade chamber at Port Said, Mohammed El-Amri, told ArabicNews.com.

El-Amri also said the conference will be convening for the first time in the southern Mediterranean, as the first session was held in France and the second in Italy.

The conference focuses on activating the role of the private sector in boosting trade and economic relations between the Arab and European states.
