King Abdullah receives Finnish foreign minister

Jordan's King Abdullah II received yesterday Finnish Foreign Minister Tarja Halonen and her escorting delegation.
The talks tackled the peace process developments and the efforts exerted to advance the process, in addition to bilateral relations between the two countries, encouraging commercial exchange and exchanging visits.
King Abdullah said the current circumstances are adequate to give a strong chance to resuming the peace process and give it a new push, adding to the significance of the role played by the European Union in boosting the peace process.
King Abdullah emphasized the significance of all parties' commitments to the signed agreements.
Halonen, who is currently making a tour of the area, expressed her country's trust in King Abdullah's wisdom and his sincere attempt to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in the area that guarantees rights and stability.
She expressed the European Union's support for Jordan's endeavors, aiming at achieving economic reform, encouraging investment and increasing economic growth.
