Gaddafi phones Mubarak

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak received a telephone call from Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi, during which the latter expressed his thanks and appreciation for the talks held between the two presidents.
Mubarak and El-Gaddafi convened a summit in Egypt yesterday, during which they discussed regional developments and the current preparations to convene the exceptional African summit in Tripoli.
Arab sources said the two leaders tackled several important issues on the Arab, African and international levels, among them the issue of national reconciliation in Sudan.
The sources added that Mubarak and Gaddafi discussed convening an Arab summit and the problems facing its convening, the country in which it will be convened. Gaddafi has expressed his readiness to host an Arab summit.
