US donation to Egypt of $700,000

The US ambassador in Cairo, Daniel Kurtzer, signed a donation of $700,000 on behalf of the US Agency for International Development to finance three feasibility studies regarding petroleum and private hospitals. Kurtzer said during the press conference held on this occasion that so far the Congress has not specified a certain level of aid for Egypt. He added that Egypt succeeded in its conversion to a market economy, therefore the US aid is focusing on supporting Egyptian growth averages through a new program to be agreed upon.
