Phoenician skeleton dating to 2000 BC found in Tyre

During digging for telephone lines in the town of Maaraka, Lebanon (Tyre district) ancient cemeteries and a skeleton for a man that may date back to 2000 BC were uncovered. The skeleton was taken to the Tyre antiquities department in order to make studies and tests to define the actual age of the skeleton, Al-Hayat reported.
