New mopping up operation for Algerian army

Algerian army forces have started a vast mopping-up operation in Batenah province in search of Armed Islamic Group members who blew up a truck, killing 13 soldiers and wounding others.
The Algerian daily al-Khabar said another armed group attacked Dawar Awlad Ali in Jijel province and killed one citizen there, while another armed group killed an army member in Bouira province.
Meanwhile, the Algerian daily al-Aseel said that two policemen were killed in the family camp of al-Qall district in an ambush planted by an armed group.
