The two sides also decided to establish a ministerial follow-up committee to implement what was agreed upon between the two countries. The statement indicated that these resolutions call for a complete Israeli withdrawal from the occupied Golan back to the June 4, 1967 border lines, Israel's withdrawal from south Lebanon and the western Bekaa and the occupied Arab lands and the realization of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian Arab people to self-determination and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the native soil of Palestine.
